Founded in October of 2005 after the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, the Naperville Responds development team includes many local business leaders, associations, city officials and residents. Our purpose is to help raise funds to help Pass Christian rebuild their community. All members of Naperville Responds are volunteers and 100 percent of every dollar goes toward building new homes.

Naperville Responds has nonprofit 501 (c) (3) charitable status in cooperation with the Naperville Jaycees Foundation.

Our immediate goal is to raise funds to build 20 homes in Pass Christian.

Meeting Schedule for 2007 - Most meetings are held at 9 a.m., on the first Tuesday of the month unless otherwise noted. Meetings are held in City Council Chambers in the Naperville Municipal Center.

Naperville Responds welcomes all residents to attend monthly general meetings to find out about our domestic Partner City initiative. While the major focus is fundraising to build up to 20 homes in Pass Christian, Mississippi, we also support and welcome all organizations to make connections with similar organizations in The Pass.

For instance, the libraries are working together, our schools are corresponding, the Naperville Art League is in touch with the Pass Christian Art League and many local churches are involved in mission trips to help Pass Christian rebuild. Local scout groups are helping, too. We welcome all ideas and participation!
