Assisting veterans in Need

If you know Veterans, active military or their families that need assistance with home repairs or renovations within a 20-mile radius of Naperville, please let us know. Use our website to help yourself, as a veteran, or to help others. From Joliet to Aurora and surrounding Chicago suburbs, we offer assistance for Veterans as a community service. If you would like to apply for assistance, you can go to our Apply for Assistance page and fill out the web form or print out a PDF.

OUR impact

Since 2009, Naperville Responds For Veterans has funded nearly $1.2 million in home repairs and renovations to assist Veterans in need. Roughly 90 percent of funds raised go directly to benefit Veterans. And our network of local contractors often donate materials and labor, or complete projects at cost.

Community Partners

If you have materials, fixtures and appliances from a recent home renovation, it is best to donate them to Habitat for Humanity's ReStore. NRFV does not have the ability to pickup or store items.
